Doris Mae Kengor
Doris Mae Kengor, 88, of Newhaven Court, formerly of Pershing Drive, New Kensington, died Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Nov. 27, 1917, in Davisville, W. Va., she was the daughter of Luther Flynn and Lizzy Sovil.
Mrs. Kengor was a homemaker. She was a member of the Senior Center in New Kensington. She enjoyed reading and gardening. She was a member of the Trinity Reformed Church in New Kensington.
She is survived by son, Paul D. Kengor of Butler; two daughters, Doris Elaine Strong of Sahuarita, Ariz., and Mrs. Don (Carol) Leas of Payson, Ariz.; seven grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Kengor, who died June 20, 1978, and whom she married on Aug. 25, 1937; a son, three sisters and two brothers.
<B>Kengor</B> — Friends of Doris Mae Kengor, who died Thursday, Nov. 9, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St., Butler. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. James Salberg officiating.
