2:26 a.m. Wednesday — An ambulance driven by John Herrmann, 59, of Mars struck a deer that jumped over a concrete divider on Route 422 near the Lyndora exit. The ambulance, owned by Harmony Ambulance, sustained moderate damage. The vehicle did not have a patient on board.11:47 p.m. Saturday — Three people face charges after being caught Halloween night at Calvary Cemetery on North Main Street. Cited for trespass were Joshua Albright, 38, Meganne Thompson, 30, and Jodi Wyant, 38, all of Butler.

7:05 a.m. Wednesday — Chrystal E. Nelson, 26, of Hilliards was seriously injured when the car she was driving slid off Route 308 and hit an embankment and tree in Clay Township. Nelson, who was wearing a seat belt, was flown by a medical helicopter to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Her condition was not known this morning. She was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.Sunday — A gun safe and several guns were stolen overnight in a burglary at an Oak Drive home in Prospect. The stolen property was recovered a short time later, police said.

5:56 a.m. Wednesday — A pickup truck driven by Justin C. Walter, 20, of Rimersburg crashed into a tree along Olean Trail on Porter Township. The pickup continued down an embankment, hit a second tree and rolled onto its side. Walter, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered a minor injury. He was cited for driving at a unsafe speed.

3:15 p.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Louis E. Wagner, 53, of Venetia, Washington County, and a pickup truck driven by Bernard M. Palmer, 69, of Mercer collided at George Junior and Cranberry roads in Pine Township. Palmer's vehicle then hit a pickup driven by Paul A. Stonestreet, 50, of Hermitage. Wagner was cited for a stop sign violation.7:30 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Janey McKinney, 52, of Sharon struck a deer on Route 258 near Gravel Road in Liberty Township.Monday — An unknown thief stole CB and AM/FM radios from a pair of truck tractors in the parking lot next to Lamb and Webster, Inc. on Route 173 in Wolf Creek Township. The stolen property, taken between Friday and Monday, is valued at $502.
