Helen S. Sheppeck
Helen S. Sheppeck, 90, formerly of Sunbury Fields Lane, died at 3:15 a.m. Thursday at the Sunnyview Home.
Born July 31, 1917, at her family home in Oakland Township, she was a daughter of George Lewis Davis and Nellie L. Brown.
She was a homemaker. She was a founding member of the South Butler Women's Auxiliary and was active in several bowling leagues.
Mrs. Sheppeck was a life member of the former St. Paul's United Church of Christ, where she was active with the women's fellowship.
Surviving are three sons, Robert S. Sheppeck (Sandy) of Butler, William P. Sheppeck (Linda) of Savannah, Ga., and Charles R. Sheppeck (Gina) of Bolivar, Mo.; a daughter, Brenda Heider (Albert) of Butler; a daughter-in-law, Cathy Sheppeck; two brothers, Lewis and John W. Davis, both of Butler; 15 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Stephen Sheppeck, died June 13, 1980. She also was preceded in death by two brothers, and a son, James A. Sheppeck.
<B>SHEPPECK </B>— Friends of Helen S. Sheppeck, who died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ralph Link, a retired pastor, officiating.
