2:53 a.m. Thursday — Jodie Anne Lowrey, 24, of Wallace, N.C., was charged with driving under the influence at South Monroe and East Cunningham streets. She also was cited for driving with a suspended license, disobeying a traffic control device and making an improper left turn.Lowrey was arraigned and placed in the Butler County Prison on $5,000 bail.
2 p.m. Wednesday — Edward W. Dixon, 18, of Butler faces drug charges following a traffic stop on North Duffy Road. Police said Dixon is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He also was cited for driving with an expired registration.
7:49 p.m. Tuesday — Jeffrey Royer, 54, of Grove City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his vehicle struck a picnic table in the parking lot of Express Care on North Broad Street.
2 p.m. Wednesday — Raymond D. Mattocks, 39, is accused of assaulting his girlfriend, Kristine Hiwiller, and holding a knife to her throat during a domestic dispute at his Hall Road home in Clay Township. He also allegedly pushed Hiwiller's daughter and grabbed her by the throat.Police said Mattocks later allegedly threatened to burn down his house, with Hiwiller and her daughter inside. Troopers arrested the suspect Thursday night.District Judge Sue Haggerty this morning arraigned Mattocks on charges of terroristic threats and two counts each of simple assault and harassment. He is in the Butler County Prison on $50,000 bail.Wednesday — An unknown burglar between Sunday and Wednesday broke into a bar on Beacon Road in Forward Township. A police report did not say if anything was taken.May 4 — Someone stole a 2000 Chevrolet pickup truck and chemicals from Western Pennsylvania Company Farms at Route 68 and Moose Road in Connoquenessing Township.
2:12 a.m. today — Joshua E. Gandolfi, 23, of Saxonburg was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his pickup truck crashed into an unoccupied PennDOT work zone on Route 28 at the Harmar exit in Harmar Township. Gandolfi was treated at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh for minor injuries.
