SAXONBURG — Registration begins today for summer reading programs at the Saxonburg Library, 240 W. Main St. The following programs are planned:

• 10:30 a.m. Thursdays starting June 16, “Read Me Around the World” for ages 2 to 5

• 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays starting June 14, “One World, Many Stories” for children in kindergarten to grade 5

• 10:30 a.m. Mondays starting June 13, “Discovery Girls” for girls from kindergarten to grade 4

• 10:30 a.m. Thursdays starting June 15, “Uniquely Me” for girls in grades 5 to 8

• “Teen Travelers” for grades 7 to 12

• “Novel Destinations” adult reading incentive program and sushi night finale

The WIC (Women, Infants and Children) supplemental nutrition program of Butler County will distribute vouchers to WIC participants for the Farmers Market Nutrition Program in June.Vouchers will be distributed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.n. May 31 and June 3, 6 and 27 and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 22 at the Butler WIC office, 323 Sunset Drive, Suite 1, Butler. For information, call 1-800-942-9467.Vouchers are available to pregnant, breastfeeding and postpartum women and children between the ages of 2 and 5 (by the end of the calendar year). Each person receives four $5 vouchers for use between June 1 and Nov. 30. Participants must be enrolled in WIC.
