Bercury, Bresnahan succeed on track

WASHINGTON, Pa. — Lady Newton, trained by Bill Bercury and owner Renee Bercury of Slippery Rock, won a $12,100 Filly & Mare Conditioned Pace during harness racing action Wednesday at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows.

Also on the card, Four Wide N Flyin’ — trained by Nathan Bresnahan of Butler, owned by Michael and Rachel Bresnahan of Evans City — won a $9,000 Conditioned Pace. The 3-year-old filly ran the race in a career-best 1 minute, 57 seconds.
