Christ Community U.M.Sunday is Girl Scout Recognition Sunday at Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, where a new movie and book discussion group will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Panera Bread in Butler Township. The group will discuss the book "The Shack" by Williams P. Christ's Outreach Christ's Outreach Church, 120 Walker Ave., will begin the parenting class "Parenting: The Early Years" at 7 p.m. Wednesday. The free classes will run for six weeks. Contact the office to register.

Faith Fellowship AllianceAngele Bubna and her parents will speak to the congregation following ministry school Sunday at Faith Fellowship Alliance Church, 200 Faithway-Fared Drive. The Bubnas are missionaries to Dakar, Senegal. An ice cream social in the fellowship hall will follow their presentation.

First Baptist Women from First Baptist Church, 221 W. The event will conclude at noon for lunch and a service at Mars. The Rev.
