Matthew S. Norris

Matthew S. Norris, 88, formerly of West Deer Township, died Tuesday.

He was an Army veteran of WWII, and he was a chemist at Gulf Oil Research and Development for 34 years.

He was the husband of Penny Hood Stothart Norris, who preceded him in death.

He is survived by a son, Richard Norris and his wife, Janice, of Harmony; two daughters, Kathleen Norris and her husband, Clifford Greene, of Portland, Maine, and Susan Norris of Harrisburg; grandchildren, Matthew and Sara Norris; brother, Melvin Newton Norris of Zelienople; step-niece, Susan Kiley of Damascus, Va., and step-nephew, Douglas Ayerst of Fla.

<B>NORRIS</B> — Friends of Matthew S. Norris, who died Tuesday, April 8, 2008, will be received at 1 p.m. Saturday for a memorial service at Sherwood Oaks, Cranberry Township. Arrangements are handled by <B>H.P. BRANDT FUNERAL HOME</B>.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Deer Creek United Presbyterian Church, 33 Bairdford Road, Gibsonia, PA. 15044.
