Doris June Dull

Dull

Doris June Dull, 79, formerly of Slippery Rock Township, died at 2:29 a.m. Friday at Grove Manor Nursing Home in Grove City.

Born June 9, 1929, she was the daughter of Andrew Floyd Allison and Clara M. Pizor Allison.

She retired from Slippery Rock University where she worked in the custodial department for more than 30 years. She was a member of the Slippery Rock United Methodist Church. She enjoyed camping, bingo and bowling.

She is survived by her husband, Edward Wayne Dull, whom she married Sept. 14, 1951.

She also is survived by two daughters, Karen D. Surrena of Butler and Marcia L. Grossman and her husband, Richard, of Slippery Rock; one son, Randall W. Dull and his wife, Danielle, of Harmony; one sister, Verna Allen of Slippery Rock; two brothers, Harry Allison and his wife, Maxine, and Harold Allison and his wife, Jennie, all of Slippery Rock; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Vaughn, Dale, Lee and Clyde; and one sister, Eleanor Brandon.

<B>DULL </B>— Friends of Doris June Dull, who died Friday, June 27, 2007, will be received 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Slippery Rock United Methodist Church. The service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church with the Rev. Pamela Gardner, pastor, officiating.Arrangements are by <B>SMITH FUNERAL HOME</B>, Slippery Rock.
