1:59 p.m. Monday One person was hurt in a three-car collision at Route 8 South and McCalmont Road.The crash happened when cars driven by Shana Moore, 36, and Andrew Boeshore, 27, both of Butler, collided. Moore's vehicle then hit a car driven by Sondra Forringer, 57, of Erie.A passenger in Forringer's car, Dorothy Forringer, 74, of Kittanning, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with chest and back injuries. Police said Moore faces a ticket for a red light violation.
5:12 p.m. Tuesday Rose E. Charlton, 24, of Pittsburgh was hurt when the car she was driving flipped several times after hitting a ditch on Interstate 79 in Worth Township. Charlton, who was wearing a seat belt, was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for minor injuries. Police said she was cited for a lane violation.Tuesday An unknown thief stole an all-terrain vehicle worth $11,500 from the front yard at a Dickey Road home in Worth Township. The theft happened between 7 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday.Police said they believe the suspect used a truck, possibly with a trailer, to steal the blue, 2009 Arctic Cat ATV equipped with a roof, windshield and front winch.Tuesday Someone driving a four-wheel vehicle vandalized Lake Arthur Country Club on Isle Road in Franklin Township, causing an estimated $1,500 in damage.Police suspect the unknown vandal drove off Unionville Road and spun a circle on the No. 10 green before traveling north through the golf course and leaving the property at the main entrance. The vandalism occurred between 5 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.1:58 a.m. Sunday Michael Fazzarello, 44, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Shroyer Mill Road in Clay Township.Nov. 3 Thousands of dollars were stolen in an overnight burglary at Open Joist on Route 38 in Allegheny Township. Police said $2,500 was taken from an office. A door sustained about $100 in damage in the break-in.3:20 a.m. Oct. 31 Joseph Costa, 19, of West Sunbury was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Herman Road near Vogleyville in Summit Township.
3:10 p.m. Tuesday Four people were hurt when a car driven by David T. Parish, 53, of New Castle rear-ended another car on Route 208 at North Liberty Road. Parish and the other driver, a 16-year-old Grove City girl, and two other teenagers riding in her car, suffered minor injuries.Police said Parish was cited for careless driving. Police did not identify the youths injured in the crash.Sunday An unknown thief stole an intake manifold and carburetor from the engine of a 1977 Chevy truck with a wrecker bed at a scrap yard on Centertown Road near Route 208 in Pine Township. The stolen property is worth $350.
