Edna Binnie, 64, of Butler died peacefully at her home early Tuesday morning surrounded by family.

She was born in Pittsburgh Feb. 28, 1944, to the late William Knoch and Mary Hummert Knoch.

"Eddie" was the beloved wife for 44 years of John "Jack" Binnie. She was the loving mother of Jeffery Binnie of Butler, Christine Groff of Cambridge Springs, Pa., and Lori Potter of Denver, Colo.; and adored grandmother of Nicole, Jacob, True and Jack. She is also survived by three sisters, Patricia Burns, Billie Brink and Joanne Barto, all of Butler.

Eddie had a kind and giving heart. Her hobbies included gardening, traveling with her family, puzzles, and baking pies.
