9:46 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Jess R. Bohrer, 36, of Butler collided with a bicycle driven by Gilmore Hilliard, 45, of Butler on W. Wayne Street near S. Washington Street. Hilliard suffered minor injuries.3:36 p.m. Thursday — Stephanie G. Knupsky, 31, of Butler was charged with simple assault after she allegedly hit Richard Crawford, 42, of Butler over the head with a bottle during an argument at an apartment along East Jefferson Street.

6:30 p.m. Wednesday — Garrett Urban, 19, of Butler was cited for retail theft after he allegedly tried to steal merchandise from the Wal-Mart in Butler Commons.

Thursday — Someone stole a Steelers thermometer valued at $100 and belonging to Douglas Williamson from the garage wall of a home along E. Poplar Street between Wednesday and Thursday. Anyone with information should call police at 724-458-7925.

11:30 a.m. Tuesday — Someone stole about 400 pounds of scrap metal from Stanzione Scrap and Salvage on Brewer Road in Saxonburg between 11 and 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.7 a.m. Tuesday — Someone stole about $2,500 in railroad switch plates and tie plates, as well as various rail parts, belonging to the Buffalo and Pittsburgh Railroad from the crossing near the intersection of Route 422 and Keck Road in Summit Township between 3:30 p.m. April 24 and 7 a.m. Tuesday.12:47 a.m. Monday — Kathy Shuler, 29, of Chicora was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop at the intersection of Route 68 and Route 38 in Summit Township.11:02 p.m. Saturday — Lindsey Farrington, 23, of New Castle was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop along Route 173 in Slippery Rock.3:40 a.m. Saturday — Kelly Bandura, 18, of Butler was charged with simple assault and cited for underage drinking following an altercation with a family member at a home along Moran Road in Summit Township.12:10 p.m. April 23 — A school bus driven by David R. Whitmire, 78, of Karns City, a car driven by Sherry L. Mechling, 53, of Parker and a car driven by Linda Pisor, 59, of Bruin collided at the intersection of Route 68 and Fairmont Road in Fairview Township. No one was injured.5 p.m. Feb. 24 — Someone stole Victorian-style jewelry belonging to Vera Peace of Portersville from a residence along Pleasant Valley Road in Muddy Creek Township between 9 a.m. Feb. 16 and 5 p.m. Feb 24.
