2:20 p.m. Monday — Vehicles driven by Edward Uber, 47, of Grove City and Eugene Caputo, 80, of Pittsburgh collided at Evans City and Meridian roads. After the crash, Uber's vehicle struck a vehicle driven by Raymond Buck, 75, of Valencia. Police said Uber was cited for a red light violation.
12:30 a.m. today — Krispen Kriner, 28, of Zelienople was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance after his pickup truck struck a guardrail on Interstate 79 in Lancaster Township.1:30 p.m. Wednesday — Brian M. McCloud, 38, of Harmony is accused of shoplifting $102 in merchandise at Boscov's in the Clearview Mall, Center Township. Police said McCloud is charged with retail theft.2:30 a.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Derik W. Herrington, 22, of Carrollton, Ohio, struck a deer on Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township. The car sustained major damage.9:59 p.m. Tuesday — Shia Shawn Frishkorn, 38, of Harrisville allegedly assaulted a 41-year-old man at a County Line Road home in Marion Township. Police said Frishkorn is charged with simple assault, harassment and criminal mischief. A police news release did not identify the alleged victim.6:34 p.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Anthony Colosimo Jr., 17, of Boyers struck an embankment and overturned at Branchton and Grubb roads in Cherry Township. Police said Colosimo, who was treated at Grove City Medical Center for moderate injuries, was cited for a lane violation.8:19 p.m. May 25 — Two people were injured when cars driven by Christopher J. Campbell, 30, of Petrolia and Susan D. Cramer, 45, of Chicora collided head-on on Henricks Road in Center Township.Campbell, who suffered serious injuries, was flown by medical helicopter to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Cramer was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries. Police said Campbell did not wear a seat belt; Cramer wore a seat belt.
1:55 a.m. Wednesday — A 22-year-old Westmoreland County man was arrested for suspicion of drugged driving on Route 28 in North Buffalo Township. Troopers searched him and turned up suspected marijuana and a "large sum" of currency, according to a police report. Police did not identify the man, who lives in New Kensington.12:52 p.m. Tuesday — Joseph Fahy III, 33, of Freeport was arrested after leading police on a vehicle chase in South Buffalo Township. Police said Fahy fled after he was clocked going 78 mph on a motorcycle in a 55 mph work zone on Route 28 about a mile north of the Buffalo Creek Bridge.Troopers caught him at the Slate Lick exit. He was arraigned on fleeing or attempting to elude police and other charges, and placed in the Armstrong County Jail on $7,500 bail.
