The Tri-County Workforce Investment Board is accepting nominations for employers in Butler, Armstrong and Indiana counties that have significantly contributed to the work force development system in the region.

An Employer of the Year Award will be given to an employer in each of the three counties to highlight the collaboration of business and workforce investment.

The deadline for nominations is Oct. 31.

Nominees must be an employer member of one of the TCWIB’s Industry Partnerships in health care, manufacturing or technology. The employer must be located in Butler, Armstrong or Indiana county.

Nominations will be accepted from both employer and resource partner members in the area’s industry partnership. Employers may nominate themselves.

Winners will be selected based on the nominee’s efforts to support and utilize the local workforce development system.

Nominations will be reviewed by a committee of members of the TCWIB.

Employers will be honored during the Dec. 14 board meeting.
