Pipkin

Katherine P. Pipkin, 55, of Butler died Thursday at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born Oct. 15, 1950, in East Brady, she was the daughter of Dorothy Anthony.

She enjoyed fishing, camping, playing bingo and poker, going to Lernerville Speedway, bowling, watching movies, watching her children play video games and visiting the Emlenton Truck Stop.

Surviving are a daughter, Katherine P. Scott of Butler; a son, William Brookbank of Butler; six stepdaughters, Stacy Scott, Tonia Baptiste, Holly Hubert, Kathy Huserman and Lily Rosa, all of Butler, and Tammy Kline of Rimersburg; three stepsons, Butch Scott and Dale Huserman, both of Butler, and Alan Best of Sligo; and 20 grandchildren.

She also is survived by her mother of Clarion; five sisters, Mrs. Ron (Diane) Buzard of Hawthorne, Mrs. James (Carol) Anthony of Clarion, Mrs. Ernest (Sheila) Adams of Rimersburg, Mrs. Rob (Ruth) Devore of East Brady and Ruby Best of Shippenville; four brothers, Theodore Adams of Emlenton, Samuel Adams Sr. of Freeport, Harvey Adams of East Brady and Kenneth Adams of Clarion.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Charles "Huck" Anthony Sr.; a brother; and a brother-in-law.
