DUBOIS — Emma Covert had three singles and two RBI as Moniteau’s softball team earned a berth in the District 9 Class 2A championship game with a 7-4 semifinal win over Curwensville Wednesday.

The Warriors (12-6) will play Keystone for the district crown Monday at DuBois’ Heindl Field. Game time will be determined Saturday.

Winning pitcher Courtney Stewart had seven strikeouts and pitched a complete game. She contributed two singles and an RBI offensively.

Emily Staab had a double, single and two RBI for Moniteau. Taylor Shultz had a single and two walks, Abby Rottman a sacrifice fly and two RBI.

Autumn Stewart contributed a single for Moniteau.
