Born in Connoquenessing, Jan. 20, 1915, she was the daughter of Aaron Kennedy Kerr and Ella Mae Osier Kerr.

She may best be remembered by those outside her family from her family business, Sander's Radio and TV, in Seneca, which she and her husband, Chet, opened in 1953. The store closed in 2001.

Mrs. Sanders enjoyed knitting, flowers, puzzles, fishing, sitting on the front porch watching the cars go by and her hummingbirds.

She also will be fondly remembered by her 20 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and her 11 great-great-grandchildren, who although are too numerous to mention here, certainly were significant to her.

Also surviving are a sister, Mary Grossman, and brother, Stanley Kerr of Butler; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester L. Sanders, whom she married July 25, 1930; four brothers, Aaron, Bill, Bob and Merle; and three sisters, Ella Mae Flatt, Hazel Wise and Viola Blakley.
