Shame on PA Game Commission
The PA Game Commission is at it, again.
Plans to reintroduce the American marten in our commonwealth are pressing forward in their senseless agenda.
The American marten is a devastating predator to poultry farmers in our state.
The American marten species will multiply in decent size litters quickly and will be in cohabitation with rural communities within a decade.
Trapping/hunting for fur is unpopular. PA GC says martens are good for the ecosystem because they prey on chipmunks, squirrels and other rodents.
I always thought chipmunks and squirrels were nature’s entertainment. (God has a sense of humor, too!)
The PA Game Commission brought us the coyote species after pressure by auto insurance support.
The PA Game Commission brought us Sunday hunting after lack of hunting license sales.
Please don’t bring us the American marten. You’ve done enough damage.
Stop the nonsense spending of taxpayer money.
As a conservative farmer, I say, “Enough is enough.”
