Karol and George Halin

George and Karol Halin of Butler celebrated 40 years of marriage.

Halin married the former Karol Holder on July 11, 1970, at St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church in West Mifflin.

They have three children, Lisa Burek, Kara Geibel and Krista Halin, all of Butler.

They also have four grandchildren.

Halin is retired after 35 years as a special education teacher in the Moniteau School District.

Mrs. Halin is retired after 35 years as a first grade teacher in the South Butler School District.

The Halins enjoy their antique cars, camping, traveling and spending time with their family.
