7:38 p.m. Thursday — A Butler father is accused of jumping into the fray of a fight involving his son and another boy in the middle of the 500 block of West Penn Street.Back-and-forth name calling apparently started the fight between the two 15-year-olds. George Moore, 35, who lives nearby, ran over and allegedly began punching and shoving the boy who was fighting with his son.Police said Moore faces charges of simple assault and disorderly conduct.9:06 a.m. Sunday — Cars driven by Timothy Titler, 50, of Butler Township and Ross Cammisa, 27, of Butler collided at Main and North streets. Cammisa was cited for driving with a suspended license.

10:46 p.m. Wednesday — Nicole Nagowski, 21, of Butler was arrested on a warrant after police found her allegedly "intoxicated and combative" at the Super 8 motel on Route 8 South, a police report said.She was placed in the Butler County Prison on the warrant. Police also cited her for public drunkenness.12:51 p.m. Wednesday -— Jessie Lynn Dick, 29, of Prospect is accused shoplifting merchandise at the Giant Eagle at Moraine Pointe Plaza. Dick is charged with retail theft.8:15 a.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Jessica McGill, 19, of Butler rear-ended another car on North Main Street Extension at Absolute Auto Works. McGill was cited for driving too fast for conditions. Dorothy Simms, 76, of Butler was driving the other car.Wednesday — Police filed charges against Colleen Ann Blakemore, 35, of New Castle, who is accused of forging and cashing a check Aug. 21. Blakemore is charged with forgery and theft by deception.

Thursday — Police reported that they are investigating the theft of nearly $500 from an office at IDL Worldwide in East Butler. Investigators suspect the money was taken between June 22 and Aug. 31.
