Catherine R. Weber Mangus, 91, of Zelienople passed away Sunday evening at Cranberry Place, Cranberry Township.

Born in Millvale, Oct 24, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Amelia McLaughlin Weber.

She was a member of St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church, Zelienople, where she was a member of the St. Anne Guild and belonged to the Ladies Funeral Choir.

Mrs. Mangus had retired from Zelienople Office Equipment in 1975 as a bookkeeper. She also was a homemaker and had served as an auditor for Harmony.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George C. Mangus, who died Sept. 4, 2007. They married Oct. 16, 1948. Also preceding her in death were three brothers and a sister.

Surviving are a son, James C. Mangus and his wife, Dawn, of Zelienople; two daughters, Mrs. Kathleen (Sidney) Bair of Butler and Mrs. Cindy (Jim) Haney of Harmony; and six grandchildren, Jeffrey (Allison) Bair and Patrick Bair, Mark and Hailey Haney and Jason and Heather Mangus.

<B>MANGUS</B> — Friends and relatives of Catherine R. Weber Mangus, who died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home</B>, 114 W. Spring St., Zelienople. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church, Zelienople, with Father Robert Miller, her pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church Cemetery.The family has suggested memorial donations be made to the Harmony Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 516, Harmony, PA 16037 or to the St. Gregory Building Fund, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople, PA 16063.Online condolences may be submitted at www.kinsey-volzfuneralhome.com.
