Butler’s boys and girls junior high cross country teams swept North Hills and Fox Chapel recently.

The Golden Tornado girls defeated North Hills 21-38 and Fox Chapel 20-42. Ava Brewster paced Butler, followed by Carmen Skal, Maddie Stemmler, Aliyah Young, Sam Cornell, Nicole Urban and Krislyn Green.

The Tornado boys defeated North Hills 27-30 and Fox Chapel 28-29. Drew Griffith led Butler, followed by Joel McCloskey, Gideon Goettler, Legend Wilkinson, Dawson Davis, Mark Collins, Noah Collins and Saxon Stoner.

Both Butler teams are 4-2 on the year.
