Brayden Povlick and Matthew Codispot scored a goal and assist each as the Butler Middle School hockey team defeated North Catholic, 6-2, recently.

Owen Denny, Cullen Miller, Landon Romett and Jonathan Baxley all scored goals for the Golden Tornado. Aaron Shoup added two assists, Rowan Musko and Jaxon Salata one each.

Lauren LeGrand was the winning goaltender.

Brock Varley scored both goals for North Catholic.

Butler (2-0) plays Seneca Valley at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Belmont Ice Complex.
