Trojanettes score 9th straight win
Tori Drevna scored 16 points and North Catholic’s girls basketball team rolled to its ninth consecutive win, 45-28, over Greensburg Salem on Monday night.
Anna Waskiewicz added 13 points and Sarah Loughry 10 for the Trojanettes (15-3, 10-0) who remained unbeaten in section play. Kaitlyn Mankins led Greensburg Salem with 21 points.
The Golden Lions (13-6, 5-45) had won four of their last five games.
Norwin 60, Butler 22 — Ava Kobus and Lauren Palangio scored 16 points each as Norwin ran away from the Golden Tornado (10-8, 4-3), which had a four-game winning streak snapped.
Amelia McMichael led Butler with eight points. The Tornado managed only three points in the second half. Norwin improved to 16-3 overall, 6-1 in section play.
Butler hosts North Allegheny on Thursday.

Kalleigh Nerone paced four Highlands players in double figures, scoring 21 points. The Golden Rams improved to 11-7, 6-3. Highlands had a 17-point lead by halftime.
