The WPIAL on Thursday released its team wrestling tournament brackets. Butler and Knoch will both be involved in first-round matches next week.

In Class 3A, Butler will host Peters Township at 6 p.m. Wednesday. At the same time and venue, Hempfield will take on Trinity and the two winners will face off later that evening.

In Class 2A, Knoch will travel to Burrell for a 6 p.m. match Wednesday. The survivor will face the winner of the Central Valley/Laurel match later that evening in a quarterfinal meeting.
