12:56 p.m. Sunday — A car driven by Joseph M. Kreutzer, 50, of Butler and a car driven by Richard H. Giallombardo, 51, of Fenelton collided at the intersection of East Jefferson Street and South Cliff Street. No one was injured.
2:10 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Roberta Oliver, 47, of Latrobe crashed into a guardrail along Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township. Oliver was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. She was cited for driving on a road laned for traffic.9:37 a.m. Wednesday — A van driven by Scott L. Grossman, 27, of Grove City and a garbage truck driven by James P. Odum, 35, of Niles, Ohio, collided on Route 208 in Pine Township. Scott Grossman and passengers Gloria L. Grossman, 56, of Grove City and Jerry L. Grossman, 73, of Grove City suffered major injuries and were taken by medical helicopter to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. Odum was taken by ambulance to Grove City Medical Center and his passenger, Nicholas E. Lander, 19, of Franklin was not injured.1:30 a.m. Monday — A car driven by Lindsay A. Farrington, 23, of New Castle crashed into a pickup truck parked on Elm Street near West Cooper Street. Farrington was not injured. The owner of the truck was issued a parking violation.3:30 p.m. Sept. 23 — A car driven by John Duda, 83, of Slippery Rock and a pickup truck driven by Samuel J. Brydon, 53, of Slippery Rock collided on Route 173 near Old Mill Site Road in Liberty Township. Brydon suffered a minor injury. Duda was charged with careless driving.
2:03 a.m. Wednesday — Benjamin Stephen Mitro, 21, of Harmony was charged with driving under the influence after he was allegedly found to be intoxicated by police helping him change a flat tire.
July 16, 2008 — DeLuca's Bar, on Route 19 in Cranberry Township was cited for three violations: failing to notify the LCB of a change of manager within 15 days, paying for liquor using checks with insufficient funds, failing to clean bar instruments and failing to keep records of coil cleaning. The violations allegedly took place between September 2007 and July 16, 2008.
8:53 a.m. Oct. 1 — A vehicle driven by Donna C. Peters, 66, of Grove City was on Edgewood Avenue when, for an unknown reason, it went across Erie Street and struck a curb. Then it struck a set of railroad tracks where it stopped straddling the tracks. Peters was taken to Grove City Medical Center for minor injuries and her car sustained major damage.Sept. 30 — Mark Murosky, 43, of Union City was charged with theft by deception and theft by unlawful taking. Murosky stole rent money intended for the owner, Linda Barnes, 55, of Guys Mills in December 2007. The check was for $500.5 a.m. Sept. 28 — Stephen G. Sawch, 20, of Greenlawn, N.Y., was arrested at 100 Campus Drive, Lincoln Hall, Grove City, and charged with seven counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, one count of possession of a small amount of marijuana and underage drinking after police responded to a complaint.Sept. 28 — A Mongoose dirt bike was found in Filer Alley. It can be claimed at the police department.5 a.m. Sept. 28 — Jacob D. Russo, 18, of Schwenksville was charged with underage drinking after he was found at 100 Campus Drive, Lincoln Hall.Sept. 25 — A vehicle was entered at 309 Stewart Ave. Chad L. Basham, 36, reported his wallet containing about $20, and an ID card and a bottle of cologne were missing.1:40 a.m. Sept. 21 — Ian Neely, 21, of Grove City was assaulted at 1440 Carrie Way, Apt. 5. Neely was struck in the head several times. Jeff Maxwell, 41, of Mercer was charged with burglary, criminal trespass, simple assault and harassment.
