Robert D. Cather, 75, of Zelienople died Tuesday at the Good Samaritan Hospice, Wexford.

Born Dec. 6, 1933, in Parkers Landing, he was the son of the late George Albert and Gertrude Felt Cather.

Mr. Cather was a member of the English Lutheran Church in Zelienople and a loving family man.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Morrow) Cather, whom he married June 8, 1953; a daughter, Cathy Questiaux and her husband, Dave, of Wattersonville; three sons, Mark Cather and his wife, Vicki, of Huntsville, Ala., Dan Cather and his wife, Lori, of Cranberry Township and Dean Cather and his wife, Jennifer, of Harrisburg.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Cather.

<B>CATHER </B>— A private memorial service for Robert D. Cather, who died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008, took place Christmas Day at the Good Samaritan Hospice, with Pastor Robert A. Keplinger, his church pastor, officiating.
