Gayle and Glenn Jeffries

Glenn and Gayle Jeffries of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with a family dinner.

The former Gayle Millen married Jeffries on Sept. 8, 1956, at West Union United Presbyterian Church in Parkwood.

They have two children, Gary Jeffries of Moon Township and Gene Jeffries of Saltsburg. They also have four grandchildren.

Jeffries is retired from Peoples Natural Gas, where he worked as a manager. He is a Mason.

Mrs. Jeffries is a retired registered nurse.

The couple belongs to Glade Run Presbyterian Church. They volunteer with Meals on Wheels and belong to the Keystone Squares square dancing club.
