BUTLER TWP — A 43-year-old woman was charged Thursday in connection with a November drug bust at a Lyndora apartment.

The Butler County Drug Task Force turned up 69 stamp bags of suspected heroin and 16 baggies of suspected crack in the raid.

District Judge Kevin O’Donnell on Thursday arraigned Lydia M. Bowman, the apartment’s tenant, on a felony charge of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

She remains free on her own recognizance.

Brandon M. Johnson-Jetter, 35, of Homestead, Allegheny County, was arrested Nov. 4, the same night that task force officers served a search warrant at the apartment.

According to court documents, Bowman admitted that Johnson-Jetter was “using her apartment to sell drugs from the past three months.”

In addition, she said, the alleged arrangement allowed her the chance to earn money for rent by also dealing drugs that Johnson-Jetter supplied.

While serving the warrant, officers found the defendant carrying $693 in currency, documents said.

O’Donnell at a preliminary hearing for Johnson-Jetter on Thursday ordered that he be held for trial on narcotics trafficking and other drug charges,

He remains free on $50,000 bail.
