Moniteau members sworn in
CHERRY TWP — Eric Anderson of West Sunbury, Cecil Blauser II of Concord Township and Randy Armagost of Cherry Township were sworn in Wednesday night as members of the Moniteau School Board.
The new members were elected Nov. 3. They join two re-elected incumbents, Diane Hunter and Kathy McBride, and four members continuing their service on the board, Linda Dillaman, Joanne Duke, Trixie Heck and Michael Panza.
Retiring from the board are Melissa DeMatteis, Douglas Kimmey and Roy Peffer. They did not run for re-election.
Kathy McBride was re-elected as board president and Trixie Heck was elected as vice president.
Superintendent George Svolos said the three new members have experience and knowledge of the district.
“I think we’re heading in the right direction,” he said. “All the board members are concerned about the kids and the district.”
