Summit rising up
Summit Academy boys basketball is for real.
The Knights won for the third time in four games this season, edging Leechburg, 66-63, in the first round of the Apollo-Ridge Holiday Tournament on Wednesday. Elijah Adams scored 19 points and Allen Grimes netted 18 for Summit.
The Knights trailed by six entering the fourth quarter before outscoring Leechburg 23-14 in the final eight minutes. They will play in the tourney title game Thursday.
