JACKSON TWP — A township man was arrested Wednesday for alleged drunken driving and harassing his ex-girlfriend.

Township police were called to a house on Lindsay Road early Wednesday where Derek B. Henderson, 30, was reportedly trespassing and banging on the house’s doors and windows, according to the criminal complaint.

The homeowner Amy Cantera told police that she had ended her relationship with Henderson on June 16. She said she had told him multiple times to leave her and her family alone, but he continued to call her and twice came to her house.

Police said they found him in the park and ride lot on the road and he admitted that he had been drinking. He was taken to UPMC Passavant Cranberry hospital where his blood was drawn and the results showed he had a blood-alcohol concentration of .094 percent.

He is charged with DUI, second offense, misdemeanor harassment and misdemeanor trespassing,

He was arraigned Wednesday and placed in Butler County Prison on $2,500 bail.
