Clementine Kober
Clementine Kober, 86, of Slippery Rock Township died at 5:22 a.m. Sunday at the Grove City Medical Center.
Born in Branchton, Oct. 17, 1922, she was the daughter of Thomas Vincent Colosimo and Rose Monillo Colosimo.
She married Horace Edsel Kober on June 9, 1956.
She worked at Slippery Rock State College, later called Slippery Rock University, for 14 years and later worked in the cafeteria for the Slippery Rock School District from 1972 until her retirement in 1991.
She was a member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Forestville. She was a Eucharistic minister of the church, a member of the Christian Mothers and a current member of the choir. She formerly was a Sunday school CCD teacher.
She enjoyed bowling and was on the Women's Tuesday Night League years ago in Slippery Rock. She loved to watch her soaps. She enjoyed traveling to Florida and other bus trips with family and friends.
She was a beloved mother to all family and friends.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Donald E. Kober of Flagler Beach, Fla., and Richard E. Kober and his fiancee, Lea Lester, of Grove City; a sister, Minnie Colosimo of Boyers; and two brothers and their spouses, Guy and Frances Colosimo of Butler and Thomas V. and Nancy Colosimo Jr. of Boyers. She also is survived by several nieces, nephews and a number of Godchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son; five brothers, Frank, Ralph, Patsy, James and Donald Colosimo; and a sister, Anna DePolo.
<B>KOBER</B> — Visitation for Clementine Kober, who died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008, will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Smith funeral Home</B>, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Anthony Catholic Church, Forestville, with Father Matthew McClain, pastor of the church, officiating. Interment will be at the St. Anthony Cemetery, Harrisville.Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
