10:56 a.m. Thursday — Shane Adam Hinchberger, 20, of Butler was charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft, receiving stolen property and access fraud device after he allegedly entered a home in Butler Township and took a lap top computer and an ATM card. He was placed in Butler County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.1:51 p.m. Wednesday — A vehicle driven by Dylan Gardner, 22, of Portersville and a vehicle driven by Joseph Kammerdiener, 82, of Parker collided on Route 422. No injuries were reported. Gardner was cited for failure to yield right of way.Cranberry Township7:12 p.m. June 25 — Keith M. McClintock, 22, of Pittsburgh was charged with retail theft after he allegedly admitted trying to steal a backpack, stuffed full of clothes and bike tools worth $142 from Wal Mart.2:25 a.m. June 24 — Jonathan Scott Molter, 21, of Allison Park was charged with driving under the influence, driving on roadways laned for traffic and failure to obey stop and yield signs following a traffic stop on Freedom Road.

1:15 a.m. Saturday — Jeff Cousins, 42, of Grove City was arrested under suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township.9:50 a.m. Friday — A rifle was found at the Butler City Hunting and Fishing Club in East Butler. The owner can claim it by calling Cpl. James Olczak at 724-284-8100 and providing proof of ownership.5 a.m. Friday — Someone stole a blue and white 2006 Yamaha TTR-90 dirt bike belonging to Thomas Duran of Saxonburg from his back porch on Aderhold Road. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.6:50 a.m. Thursday — Someone stole a Nokia cell phone, a Remington .270 magazine clip and about $4 in coins from the vehicle of Kathleen Smith while it was parked in front of her home in East Butler between 10:15 p.m. Wednesday and 6:50 a.m. Thursday.11:59 Wednesday — Someone stole a set of golf clubs from the vehicle of Crystal Hershey of Butler while it was parked at Michael's Restaurant in Franklin Township between 10:30 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. Wednesday. Any one with information should call police at 724-284-8100.
