Butler’s improvements
I would like to say thank you to Bryan Frenchak for purchasing the Penn Theater. It sounds like he is really going to make great things happen. Downtown Butler and the merchants should really be thankful; I think it is going to save Butler’s downtown.
Hopefully, it will bring new businesses and eateries to main street. It would be nice if the old Worsley site would be turned into a parking lot for the theater. Maybe the Mayor will make people clean up some of the eyesores.
I also like the idea of the Jeep Museum. It would be nice to find a spot downtown, but I can’t think of any building big enough. Some suggestions would be the old Family Video building, the Ford building when Cochran’s moves out, or maybe the old Pullman building. The Pullman building could also be made into little shops and other museums for the Pullman Railroad car and for Armco.
Wishing Mr. Frenchak the best of luck.
