Pascazi

Christina M. Pascazi, 94, formerly of Bradys Bend, died Thursday at Bradyview Manor, East Brady, and is "Now at peace in heaven with my Johnny."

Born Feb. 19, 1914, in Berkley, W.Va., she was the daughter of Panfilo and Anna DeAngelo Silverio.

She enjoyed playing bingo and being with her family.

Mrs. Pascazi was a member of the St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church of Bradys Bend and the church's Altar Rosary Society and Young at Heart Club. She also was a member of the Sons of Italy, Lodge 1484 and American Legion Auxiliary, Post 488, both of Bradys Bend.

Surviving are a daughter, Pamela Jean Painter and her husband, William, of East Brady; two sisters, Angelina "Jennie" Steiner of East Brady and Mary Pascazi of Grove City; and a brother, Pasquale "Patsy" Silverio of East Brady. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Joseph Painter and his wife, April, Jeffrey Painter and Erin Valasek and her husband, Ben; 10 great-grandchildren: Chandler Painter; triplets, Joey, Jon and Ashley Painter; Andy Painter; twins, Emily and Hannah Painter; twins, Isabel and Isaac Valasek; and Jack Valasek; and many nieces and nephews.

Her husband, John P. Pascazi, who she married Sept. 23, 1946, died Jan. 24, 1986. She also was preceded in death by two sons, John P. Pascazi Jr. and Thomas Pascazi; three sisters, Regina, Carmela and Grace; two brothers, John and Pietro; and twin great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Christina Valasek.

<B>PASCAZI </B>— Friends of Christina M. Pascazi, who died Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Charles B. Buechele Funeral Home</B>, 105 Fourth St., East Brady. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the St. Patrick Church, Bradys Bend, with the Rev. Joseph Bonafed officiating. Burial will be at the St. Mary Cemetery, Bradys Bend.A parish prayer service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
