2:16 a.m. Tuesday — Tricia D. Beach, 37, of Lyndora was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness after police found her allegedly sleeping behind the wheel of her car, which was idling at a gas pump at a Hansen Avenue convenience store.2:46 p.m. Monday — An SUV driven by Michael N. Gimigliano, 65, of Butler hit a parked car in the 400 block of Third Street. The parked car is owned by Daniel J. Hageman of Butler.1:35 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Raymond A. Cavelli, 25, of Butler crashed into a fence at the corner of West Locust and Chestnut streets, then fled the scene. The car was identified by its broken taillight less than a block away.9 a.m. Monday — Someone entered a vehicle owned by Robin B. Trinko of Butler while it was parked near her residence on Coal Street, stealing $20 in change, a black bowling ball valued at $75 in a black bag and a pair of bowling shoes between 11:30 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. Monday. The shoes later were found in an adjacent yard.

6:40 p.m. Sunday — Wesley Schofield, 49, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence, resisting arrest, assault and reckless endangerment after his vehicle struck two police cruisers following an attempted traffic stop on South Eberhart Road. He was jailed in Butler County Prison in lieu of $15,000 bond.9:17 p.m. Friday — A car driven by April Malone, 23, of Rimersburg struck the rear of a car driven by Carlo Morando, 64, of Butler while it was stopped at a red light on Route 356. Both drivers and Morando's passenger, Joyce Morando, 64, were taken by Butler Ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.8:07 p.m. Friday — A car driven by a 16-year-old Renfrew male and an SUV driven by a 17-year-old Zelienople male collided at the intersection of Evans City and Eberhart roads. None of the vehicles' occupants were injured.1:16 p.m. Friday — A burglary was reported at 407 Division St. occurring sometime in the preceding week. The burglar broke a front window. Anyone with information about the incident should call police at 724-285-9600.9:43 a.m. Friday — Andrea L. Jay, 36, of Evans City was charged with driving under the influence, possession of a controlled substance and careless driving after a traffic stop on Route 68.

3:33 p.m. Friday — An SUV driven by Rodney Fleeger, 44, of Butler proceeded through a stop sign on Bonniebrook Road without clearance, causing a car driven by James Reges, 72, of Butler to swerve and hit an SUV driven by David Migliorisi, 35, of Boyers while it was stopped at the intersection. Reges, Migliorisi and Fleeger's passenger, Maryann Fleeger, 39, all received minor injuries. Fleeger was cited for not yielding the right of way from a stop sign.Thursday — Edward G. Blank Jr., 31, of Franklin Township reported someone cut the wires to his outside Christmas lights at 123 North Road between 12:01 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Anyone with information about the incident should call police at 724-284-8100.5:46 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Matthew Williams, 24, of Butler and a car driven by Brian Duke, 31, of New York City collided on Route 8 near Clearview Mall. Duke and his passenger, Alisia Duke, 30, also of New York, received minor injuries.Wednesday — The Harrisville Sheetz gas station reported a fake $20 bill passed between 3 and 3:30 p.m. at the station. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.Wednesday — The Bon Ton and the Sears stores at the Clearview Mall in Center Township reported counterfeit money being passed between 2 and 2:30 p.m. Anyone with information about the incidents should call police at 724-284-8100.12:50 p.m. Wednesday — A pickup truck driven by Christopher Smith, 41, of McDonald, Ohio, and a car driven by Melodie Giglio, 36, of Emlenton collided head-on on Route 268 in Hovey Township, Armstrong County. Giglio received moderate injuries while Smith received minor injuries. Smith allegedly crossed the double yellow line, leading to the accident. Smith faces charges of driving under the influence and carrying firearms without a license.8:33 a.m. Wednesday — An SUV driven by Tara Lynn Morris, 23, of West Sunbury slid off icy Route 38 and rolled over. Morris received unspecified injuries. Chicora Ambulance and the North Washington Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.11 p.m. Dec. 23 — A car driven by Valerie Pennock, 28, of Fredrick, Md., hit a guard rail on Interstate 79 in Lancaster Township before rolling over into the median and hitting an embankment.10:56 p.m. Dec. 23 — An SUV driven by Andrew Hay, 22, of Grove City hit a guard rail on Interstate 79 in Lancaster Township.10:53 p.m. Dec. 23 — A car driven by Jason Koshinskie, 33, of Erie hit a guard rail on Interstate 79 in Lancaster Township, spun and hit a second guard rail.7:58 a.m. Dec. 22 — A car driven by Elizabeth Rouzzo, 30, of New Castle slid off icy New Castle Road in Slippery Rock Township, hit a fence, went down an embankment and rolled over twice. Slippery Rock EMS extricated Rouzzo, who had moderate injuries. She was taken by Slippery Rock EMS to an unspecified hospital for treatment. Rouzzo was cited for not driving at a safe speed.9:36 p.m. Dec. 19 — A car driven by Tabatha Isom, 24, of Butler and an SUV driven by Sandra Strachman, 48, of Butler collided on Route 356 in Summit Township.
