1:06 p.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by Lisa Hildenbrand, 41, of Greensburg struck the rear of a vehicle driven by William Bauder, 78, of Zelienople on New Castle Road. The impact caused Bauder's car to hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Mary Moser, 64, of Butler. No one was injured.10:37 a.m. Thursday — A truck carrying an oversize load driven by Tracy Jeremy, 29, of Kansas knocked over a utility pole and wires on Route 8. The road was closed until Allegheny Power removed the wires. Jeremy was cited for failure to stop for an accident.
Wednesday — A tractor-trailer driven by Leland Schimberg, 22, of Ovosso, Mich., struck the rear of a van driven by Thomas Waruszewski, 65, of Pittsburgh on Route 28 in South Buffalo Township. The impact spun the van around leading to a collision with a car driven by Tyler French, 22, of Kittanning. Waruszewski received an unspecified injury. No one else was injured. The occupants of all three vehicles were wearing seat belts.
9 p.m. Thursday — William Joseph Wokutch, 46, of Evans City was charged with simple assault and resisting arrest after allegedly punching and pushing Lee Ann Howell, 40, of Washington, Pa., and pushing a 16-year-old Harmony boy at 111 Needle Point Road in Forward Township. Wokutch was arraigned before District Judge Lewis Stoughton and jailed in Butler County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail.Thursday — Someone stole miscellaneous copper items from the property of John King on Zion Church Road in Concord Township between May 15 and June 26.Wednesday — A car driven by Robert Simm, 24, of East Brady struck the rear of a pickup truck driven by Brenda Schrecengost, 49, of Chicora that was stopped to turn off Route 68 in Chicora. Schrecengost received minor injuries, and Simm was not injured. Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Simm was cited for not driving at a safe speed.Tuesday — Someone entered Muscle Products Corp. at 112 Fennell Drive in Summit Township and stole about $10 in cash and used a key from the cash box to open the pop machine outside the building to steal another $5 between 9 p.m. Monday and 7:50 a.m. Tuesday.6 p.m. June 22 — Richard E. Humes Jr., 19, and Sarahlea A. Humes, 19, both of Forestville were arrested for allegedly stealing aluminum from the Homison and Neal's Auto Service on Edna Street in Harrisville.
3:15 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Joseph Mortimer, 54, of Rimersburg struck the rear of a pickup truck driven by Donald Minich, 66, of Sligo that was stopped on Route 68 in Piney Township to turn into a driveway. The car pushed the truck about 93 feet. The car's passenger, Malcolm Mortimer, 79, received minor injuries. Neither driver was injured. All three occupants were wearing seat belts. The Sligo Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
12:15 a.m. June 22 — Eduardo Alberto Rodriguez, 21, of Pittsburgh was arrested for possession of marijuana on Franklin Road in Evans City.
