Gary W. Braden
Gary W. Braden, 65, of Butler died Wednesday evening at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Born Oct. 16, 1943, in Amboy, Ohio, he was a son of the late Leon and Helen Tuttle Braden.
Gary was a retired train dispatcher having worked for the Bessemer and Lake Erie Railroad for 26 years and retiring three years ago. Since then, he worked at Sam's Club in Butler. A member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Center Township, he was an avid golfer and played frequently at Aubrey's and Serene Valley golf courses.
Surviving are his wife, Sarah Goepfert Stutz Braden, who he married Nov. 17, 1991; a son, Brad Stutz of Butler; two daughters, Sherrie Stutz of Coraopolis, and Karen Gagen of Butler; a sister, Nancy (Robert) Ullstrom of Conneaut Lake; a brother, Leon G. Braden of Georgia; seven grandchildren, Haley Stutz, Marlee Stutz-Moses, Isabella Stutz-Lazarra, Gunner, Delaney and Jack Gagen, and Matthew Stutz; and nieces and nephews, including Bobby Ullstrom.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Roland Braden; and a sister, Marian Remmel.
<B>BRADEN</B> — Friends of Gary W. Braden, who died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. today and 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Drive, Butler. The Rev.
