CRANBERRY TWP — A Westmoreland County man on Friday waived to court charges of drug possession and drug use stemming from an Oct. 31 arrest when police found him passed out in his vehicle.

According to the court documents, police found Jeremy P. Seifert, 38, of Arnold, in his vehicle on Smith Drive.

Seifert was found with his head leaning against the driver’s side window, according to police reports.

He was found to have multiple round, orange pills later discovered to be Clonasepam, a Schedule IV controlled substance, police said.

A capped syringe sitting on top of a smokeless tobacco can was also found. The tobacco can contained three wax paper stamp bags containing heroin.

An empty stamp bag and multiple cotton swabs were also seized, police said.

“Seifert explained that he had driven to this location (Smith Drive) for an appointment for Suboxone, left his appointment and returned to his vehicle, where he used heroin and passed out,” the police report states.

Seifert’s driver’s license is under suspension, related to a previous DUI incident.
