3 vehicles involved in crash

PENN TWP — Nobody was seriously injured in a three-car collision at the intersection of Route 8 and Dinnerbell Road Thursday morning.

The accident occurred shortly before 11 a.m. when Edward Pavlick of Pittsburgh, driving a Hyundai Santa Fe, hit the back of a Cadillac Escalade that had stopped for a red traffic light, heading north.

The Escalade then hit a Chevy Cavalier that was turning onto Route 8 from Dinnerbell Road. The driver of the Cavalier, who has not yet been identified, was taken to the hospital by the Butler Ambulance Service as a precautionary measure.

All three vehicles were towed.

The Penn Township Volunteer Fire Company and Middlesex Township police also responded.
