Paula A. 'Penny' Lydic
Paula A. "Penny" Lydic, 58, of Home, Indiana County, died Tuesday at her home.
She was born in 1951 in Indiana County to Paul and Ann Thompson Heeter.
She was a graduate of Butler High School, Class of 1969, and a graduate of Indiana (Pa.) University with a degree in secondary math education.
Penny was employed by the S&T Bank for the past 26 years as a research manager.
She was a devoted mother and loving wife. She enjoyed participating in basketball and racing events with her family.
Penny is survived by her husband of 29 years Edward J. Lydic of Home; two daughters, Allison Lydic and Jeremy Fisher of Rural Valley and Amanda George and her husband, Henry, of Home; her parents of Butler; two sisters, Patricia Birckbichler and husband, Joseph, of Butler and Cheryl Davis and her husband, Edward, of Butler; several nieces and nephews; and her father-in-law, Beryl Lydic and his wife, Sally, of Home. She will be sadly missed by Chloe, Katie and Saharra.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ben and Sara Thompson; her paternal grandparents, Don and Nora Heeter; and by a close family friend, Anna Belle Bennett.
<B>LYDIC</B> — Friends of Paula A. "Penny" Lydic, who died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010, will be received from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Bowser-Minich Funeral Home</B>, 500 Ben Franklin Road South, Indiana, where a funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday with the Rev.
