7:14 p.m. Wednesday — Apickup truck driven by Denise Sims, 43, of Butler Township struck a stop sign at Zeigler Avenue and Short Street.5:40 p.m. Wednesday — Kevin P. Seybert, 52, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence on South Monroe Street. Police said Seybert also was cited for careless driving.

9:06 p.m. Wednesday — James Kemple, 42, of Butler was hurt when the motorcycle he was driving crashed on Whitestown Road. Police said Kemple was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for unspecified injuries.10:29 p.m. Tuesday — Acar driven by Linus Green, 56, of Butler struck two mailboxes and a traffic sign along Evans City Road. The vehicle then crossed both lanes, a grass median and both lanes on Oakdale Road, traveling through a yard and hitting a pine tree. Police said Green as cited for careless driving.

Today — Police are asking for the public's help to find a missing person.Justin K. Burch, 21, of Parker was last seen Friday in the area of Bruin and Bradys Bend.Police report Burch's checking account has a zero balance and no one has heard from him since the time he was last seen.Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.10:50 p.m. Tuesday — Allison Traugott, 29, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after her car struck a tree along Hooker Road in Concord Township.Tuesday — A would-be thief tried to break into a vehicle on Chestnut Drive in Center Township. The attempted theft, which occurred between Friday and Wednesday, caused about $100 damage to the vehicle.2 a.m. Sunday — Wayne D. Elliott, 50, of Slippery Rock was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, Kirsten Kisling, 29, during a domestic dispute at her Lake Arthur Estates home in Muddy Creek Township. Elliott was arraigned on charges of simple assault and harassment, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $5,000 bail.
