Matrona, a ministry of Cabot United Methodist Church, 707 Winfield Road, Cabot, will open a family resource center beginning Thursday, Oct. 20, offering a resource closet, where families in southeastern Butler County can find baby and toddler clothes, maternity clothes, diapers, baby gear and children’s books.

The closet will be open weekly from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursdays.

The center also will offer a support group for new parents, launching for the first time on Thursday, Oct. 20. The support group runs from 7 to 8 p.m.

Parenting and childbirth classes will also be available weekly as needed.
