Domenic J. FaJohn
Domenic J. FaJohn, 78, of Youngstown, Ohio, passed away Monday evening at his home.
Domenic was born April 13, 1931, in Boyers, a son of the late Vincenzo (James) and Antoinette (Mary) (Diana) FaJohn.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Domenic retired in 1984 as a supervisor from Youngstown Sheet and Tube, Campbell Works, and he was also a self-employed painter during that time.
He enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing and selling at flea markets, but most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
His wife, the former Gloria Vitale, who he married Oct. 27, 1952, passed away Dec. 11, 2008.
He is survived by his daughter, Brenda (Dennis) Delfosse of Austintown, Ohio; three sisters, Madeline (Ernie) Rakaczky of Pittsburgh, Violet Fleeger of New Castle and Regina FaJohn of Polk; and three grandchildren, Matthew, Christina and her fiance Jonathan Wagner, and Jennifer.
Besides his parents, Domenic was preceded in death by two sisters, Sophie Kopczewski and Adeline Panei; and six brothers, Carl, Richard, Ardent, Celestino, Archie and Arthur FaJohn.
