Elizabeth J. Crider
Elizabeth J. Hillard Crider, 87, of Evans City passed away Saturday morning at her home.
Born Oct. 11, 1923, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Frances Kordian Hillard.
She was a Protestant.
She had enjoyed line dancing at the senior center in Evans City. She liked reading and taking nature walks and loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Crider, who died Aug. 30, 1996, and by a brother.
Surviving are three daughters, Carol and her husband, Roger, Brown of Santee, Calif., Susan and her husband, Robert, Steele, of Massillon, Ohio, and Cindy and her husband, Ronald, Deemer of Cranberry Township; a son, William and his wife, Alice, Crider of Evans City; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
<B>CRIDER</B> — Relatives and friends of Elizabeth J. Hillard Crider, who died Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010, will be received at the <B>A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home</B>, Evans City, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday when funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. John Park of the Westminster United Presbyterian Church officiating.
