Kathleen J. Fagley
It is with great sorrow we announce that Kathleen J. Fagley, 43, of Butler, passed away following a short battle with liver cancer, Tuesday, at the Butler Memorial Hospital, with her loving family and friends by her side.
Born Jan. 11, 1965, in Butler, she was a daughter of Helen (Minor) Valletto and the late David Valletto Sr.
She was a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute. Along with her husband, Paul, they were the proprietors of the Runway Restaurant for 10 years. At the time of her passing, she was the food service director at Concordia. For many years, she headed the Community Care Connections Chef Tasting Event at The Mansion in Penn Township and was always active in her community and donated her time to many charities.
She was a member of the Mount Chestnut Presbyterian Church, the "Saturday Night Cocktails" bowling league and had helped with the Prospect Cheerleaders.
Surviving are her beloved husband, Paul A. Fagley, whom she married, June 19, 1993; her cherished daughter, Amanda Jane Fagley; her mother, Helen Valletto; two brothers, David Valletto, with his children, Victoria and Mario, and Michael Valletto, and his wife Kari; brother-in-law, Jeff Fagley, and his son Robert; Irene Fagley, along with many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and treasured family friend, Jim Rider.
<B>FAGLEY</B> —<B> </B>Friends of Kathleen J. Fagley, who died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Mount Chestnut Presbyterian Church, 727 W. Old Route 422, Mount Chestnut. The Rev. Jeffrey Curtis, pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Burial Estates.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Amanda J.
