12:39 p.m. June 7 — A Jeep driven by Peter A. Novak, 53, of Butler hit a house at 907 W. New Castle St. Novak was not wearing a seat belt and was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries to his head and face.

1 p.m. Friday — Two people stole 150 silver dollars from the North Broad Street Ext. home of Mary Louise Kirschmann, 76, of Grove City. One man told Kirschmann he was a cropper and needed to see the property line in her backyard while another person entered the house and stole the coins from a locked filing cabinet.5:35 p.m. Thursday — Ronald D. Williams, 53, of Hadley was charged with retail theft after he allegedly tried to steal $113 worth of assorted sporting goods from Trader Horn on West Main Street in Grove City.8 a.m. June 6 — Someone stole a Dewalt reciprocating saw, a Generac generator, a Paselode cordless finish nailer, air hoses, Bostich roofing air nailers, a Husky Black Chrome professional tool set, a Dewalt circular saw and assorted hand tools belonging to Clayton John Boyd, 28, of Grove City from a garage on Walters Road in Pine Township between 5 p.m. June 4 and 8 a.m. June 6. Anyone with information should call police at 724-662-6162.
