Tuesday — Irene Phillips reported her grandson's green, 10-speed bicycle was stolen from her Center Avenue home. The 26-inch bike is valued at $100.7:26 p.m. Sunday — Holly Bailey, 25, of Center Township was arrested for driving under the influence after her car struck two parked vehicles on Hansen Avenue. Bailey also was cited for careless driving. Irene Stacey Community Health Center owns the vehicles that were struck in the crash.

8:20 p.m. Tuesday — An unidentified red, crew cab pickup truck struck the rear of a car on Route 8 near Mahood Road, and did not stop. Dana Ealy, 28, of Slippery Rock was driving the car.11:45 a.m. Tuesday — Slippery Rock Middle School was evacuated after a bomb threat was found written inside the school on Kiester Road in Slippery Rock Township. The school was searched but no bomb was found.Saturday — Police are investigating an overnight vandalism spree at Bruin Park and Bruin Elementary School in Bruin.The park pavilion, restroom and bridge were spray painted with the initials D.W.K. A Dumpster outside the school was spray painted with the same initials.Police think the initials stand for "Dirty White Kids." Anyone with information about the vandalism is asked to call the barracks at 724-284-8100.12:15 a.m. Nov. 5 — Brett Eubanks, 19, of Sarver was seriously injured when a car he was driving crashed into a tree along Lardintown Road in Clinton Township. Eubanks was taken to Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. His condition was not known this morning. Eubanks was cited for driving too fast for conditions, driving with worn tires, and not wearing a seat belt.

3:15 p.m. Monday — Aminivan driven by Howard Bricker, 61, of Sarver struck a deer on Route 28 near Beale Road in Buffalo Township, Butler County.

Monday — Three handguns were stolen in a burglary at the Monterey Road home of Eldon Mazzoni in Toby Township. The guns taken included a Smith &Wesson .357-caliber revolver and a Remington .221-caliber Fireball pistol, each valued at $500; and a Taurus 9mm pistol valued at $450.

7:20 p.m. Monday — Michael Thomas Tasker Jr., 31, of Emlenton was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Main and Kerr streets in Emlenton. Taker was placed in Venango County Jail after police learned he was wanted on a warrant from Mercer County.

Tuesday — Construction power tools were stolen overnight from two vehicles parked at the Comfort Inn parking lot in Springfield Township.In one theft, five tools were taken from the bed of a truck owned by CH&D Enterprises of Ligonier, Westmoreland County. The stolen property is valued at $1,600.In the other theft, three tools were stolen from a vehicle's utility tool box The stolen tools, owned by Mast Lepley Silo Inc., of Apple Creek, Ohio, are valued at $900.
