Butler County Community College's Autumn Burke had seven kills in a 30-11, 30-17 win over Community College of Beaver County and had eight kills in a 30-21, 30-8 volleyball win over Potomac State Wednesday night.

Stephanie Lawson added 11 digs in the first match against CCBC and 18 digs against Potomac State.

The Pioneers are now 17-3 overall and 10-0 in the conference and will play in the Lakeland Community College Tournament Sept. 23.

Jaimi Wilson, Martina Hall and Mallory Hall each scored goals as the Slippery Rock University women's soccer team beat California (Pa.) University 3-0 Wednesday afternoon.The Rock (3-2-2, 2-0-2) broke a three-game scoreless streak with the win.

The Slippery Rock University men's soccer team trailed California (Pa.) University 4-0 just 15 minutes into its match Wednesday before launching a furious comeback that fell just short in a 4-3 setback.Dave Keller, Ed Mocarsky and Matt Furlan each scored goals for The Rock (3-5-1, 3-3-1).

Oliver Horrigan scored three goals and Eric Olson added two goals and two steals to lead the Slippery Rock University men's water polo team to 7-6 and 13-7 wins over Salem International and Grove City Wednesday.Zachary Wolary scored four goals against Grove City, The Rock's fifth straight win to improve to 11-4.
